Logical Reasoning Math Question:
  • Find the number that replaces the question mark.
    • 7 + 7 = 2
    • 8 + 9 = 5
    • 8 + 5 = 1
    • 6 + 9 = 3
    • 10 + 13 = 11
    • 4 + 9 = ?
Answer Explanation For Logical Reasoning Math Question:
Take the sum of the left hand side (Example: 7 + 7 = 14) and subtract it with 12, then you will get the answer.

7 + 7 = 14 - 12 = 2
8 + 9 = 17 - 12 = 5
8 + 5 = 13 - 12 = 1
6 + 9 = 15 - 12 = 3
10 + 13 = 23 - 12 = 11
4 + 9 = 13 - 12 = 1

Tip: Do not look only at the first equation (i.e., 7 + 7 = 2) and start thinking how it is equal to 2. Look at two or three equations and try to find the common thing in it. In this scenario, the common thing is to sum the values and subtract it with 12. You may not get it, but you will definitely get it after practicing these kinds of questions regularly.
